Coffee Roasting Championships in South Korea: Competing at the Highest Level

In March this year, we had the pleasure of taking part in the Coffee Roasting Championships in Incheon, South Korea. This unique event brought together coffee lovers and experts from all over the world. As many as 80 competitors took part in the competition, vying for the title of coffee roasting champion. The prize is the opportunity to represent South Korea at the World Championships, which will be held in Copenhagen this year!

During the competition, the roaster that was used was our tried and tested Stronghold. During the qualifying stage to determine the best twelve competitors, the S7X was used. Its compact design and precise operation enabled the participants to achieve outstanding results.

However, the star of the finals was the S8X. Its exceptional performance and reliability allowed participants to extract the full potential from their coffees, creating unique flavours and aromas. The finals took place the following day, attracting even more attention from the audience, who enthusiastically cheered on their favourites.

The competition not only gained great interest among the public, but also won the appreciation of the participants themselves. The competitive atmosphere, the passion for coffee and the high level of skill made the South Korean Coffee Roasting Championship an unforgettable event for all lovers of coffee culture.
